Draft for legal review — not yet in force
Creator Terms
크리에이터 이용약관 (초안)
How you apply, what happens to the content you upload, and how and when you get paid.
1. What these terms cover
These terms apply when you apply to Yeppo Models, upload content, or accept a brief. They sit alongside the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.
For paid engagements we also sign a separate Creator Agreement with you: the Korean edition (업무위탁계약서) or the International edition. Where that agreement and these terms disagree, the signed agreement wins.
2. Applying
- You must be 18 or older and applying as yourself, not on someone else's behalf.
- You give us the handles of social accounts you own. We look up the public information on those accounts (follower and post counts, average likes and comments, engagement rate, profile picture, verification, and the country the account appears to be in) and store it for up to 90 days.
- We calculate a score from that public information, from your profile, and from the skin information you choose to share. Applications are ranked by it. You can ask us to explain a score and to have a person review it.
- Giving false information, buying followers, or using an account you do not control ends your participation.
3. You keep your content
You own what you make. You keep copyright in every photograph and video you upload. You do not transfer ownership to Yeppo or to any brand.
What you grant us:
- To Yeppo: permission to store your content, show it in the marketplace, screen it for quality and safety, and show samples to brands considering a licence. We may crop or compress it for display, not change what it says.
- To a brand that licenses it: the rights set by the licence tier you choose when you list it.
You promise the content is yours, that everyone appearing in it has agreed, that it is honest about the product, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights.
4. Licence tiers
| Tier | What the brand gets | What you can still do |
|---|---|---|
| Non-exclusive | Use the content for its own marketing for the licence period | License the same content to others, and post it yourself |
| Platform exclusive | The only buyer of this content on Yeppo for the licence period | Post it on your own channels; not license it to another buyer here |
| Exclusive | The only user of the content for the licence period | Keep ownership; not license it elsewhere while the licence runs |
Each licence has an end date shown at purchase. When it ends, the brand's rights end, except for material already printed or published, which it may keep using where it has been placed.
[REVIEW] The product stores a licence type and an expiry but does not yet define the term length, the territory, or whether paid advertising is included. Set those three, because they decide the price, and confirm the run-on wording above with counsel.
5. What you are paid
- When your content is licensed you receive 65% of the price paid. Yeppo keeps 35% as its platform fee.
- For a brief, you are paid the fee stated in that brief.
- Earnings are paid out once your balance reaches US$25.
- Payouts run through our payment provider. You will need to complete its onboarding, including identity checks, before we can pay you.
- You are an independent contractor. You are responsible for your own taxes and social contributions, and we may have to withhold tax and report it where the law requires.
[REVIEW] Two conflicts to resolve. The product pays through Stripe Connect; the Creator Agreement templates promise Trolley, Wise or Payoneer. A funding document mentions a 70% "Platinum" tier that does not exist in the product. Decide which is true before publishing, and add the Korean withholding position (the draft payout schema assumes 22%).
6. Advertising disclosure
When you are paid, or receive free product, you must say so clearly in the content itself. In Korea follow the KFTC review-advertising guidelines (표시·광고 심사지침) and label posts #광고 or 유료광고. Elsewhere follow the equivalent local rule. A post that hides a paid relationship can be rejected and unpaid.
7. What you may not do
- Claim a cosmetic product treats, cures or prevents a disease, or make any medical claim about it.
- Use someone else's footage, music or images without the right to do so.
- Upload anything sexual, hateful, or featuring anyone under 18.
- Contact a brand you met through Yeppo to take the same deal off-platform during the engagement and for [6] months after it.
8. Screening and removal
Uploads are screened automatically, and reviewed by people when needed. We can decline or remove content that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why. If a brand has already licensed content we remove because of a rights problem, you may have to refund what you were paid for it.
9. Ending it
You can stop at any time and ask us to remove your listings. Licences already sold continue for their term. We may end your participation for a serious or repeated breach, and we will pay any balance you have properly earned.
10. Your information
The Privacy Policy explains what we collect when you apply, including the public profile information we look up and the payout and tax details we need to pay you.
11. Which law applies
Korean law governs these terms, with the courts of [SEOUL CENTRAL DISTRICT COURT] having jurisdiction, unless your signed Creator Agreement says otherwise or local law where you live gives you stronger rights.
This draft was prepared from how the Yeppo product works today. It is not legal advice. Korean counsel (변호사) must review it, and every [PLACEHOLDER] must be filled in, before it takes effect.
